NBA Finals Game 7
The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106 Thursday in Game 5 of the NBA Finals to capture the 2011-12 championship. The Heat won the best-of-seven series 4-1, winning four straight after losing Game 1 in Oklahoma City. LeBron James had a triple double with 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds in a Finals-MVP winning performance. Chris Bosh scored 24 points and Dwyane Wade added 20 and eight rebounds, while Mike Miller hit seven 3's and scored a postseason-high 23 points off the bench.

After suffering wounds from a violent shootout that left three people dead, Trae spoke to XXL and gave his side of the story…
“I’m not sure exactly what the altercation was necessarily about, but long story short, whatever transpired, they ran in my direction, so in the process of running in my direction, that kind of had everybody in the open,” Trae told XXLMag.com about the incident, which took place outside of Scores Cabaret. “So as the altercation came my way, shots were being dispersed, but since it was coming our direction, it was a crowd of people. Everybody was wrong place, wrong time.” According to MyFoxHouston, the Houston rapper was one of five people shot in the early morning hours on June 20—three of whom died from the gunshot wounds. Houston’s KTRK TV reported that more than twenty shots were fired, and two males and one female were pronounced dead at the scene. Trae says he knew some of the fallen. “One of ‘em, most definitely, was part of the ABN family,” he continued, referncing his Assholes By Nature crew. “My brother, who got killed on Thanksgiving, Clip, his nephew was killed. And one of my peoples, an upcoming rapper from Houston, Cal Wayne, one of his people got killed, too. She was amongst the innocent bystanders. And then I was shot and somebody else was shot. It was just crazy, man.”

NBA Finals Game 4
The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 104-98 Tuesday in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Heat lead the series 3-1, and have a chance to close out the series in Game 5 Thursday. LeBron James led Miami with 26 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds, but it was the play of Mario Chalmers that may have been most key. He finished with a postseason-high 25 points on 9 of 15 shooting.

NBA Finals Game 1
The Oklahoma City Thunder shook off the jitters and rallied from 13 points down behind big nights from PG County native Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to beat the Heat 105-94 and take a 1-0 lead in the NBA Finals. Miami had a big night from LeBron James (30 points) but it wasn't enough to overcome OKC's two All-Stars. Durant finished with 36 points (17 in the fourth quarter) and Westbrook added 27 (18 in the second half) to go along with 11 assists, eight rebounds and just two turnovers. Durant also grabbed eight rebounds and handed out four assists.

They will play at Oklahoma City in Game 1 Tuesday. LeBron James led the Heat with 31 points and 12 rebounds while Dwyane Wade added 23 points, six rebounds and six assists. Forward Chris Bosh finished with 19 points and eight rebounds.

LeBron James nearly matched his playoff career high with 45 points, as the Miami Heat ran away from the Boston Celtics with a 98-79 win in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals. With the victory, Miami has forced a winner-take-all Game 7 back in Miami on Saturday night, with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line.

NBA Western Conference Finals Game 6
After a kiss and a hug from his mom, Thunder forward and PG County native Kevin Durant then accepted a warm vocal embrace from 18,203 of his closest friends as Oklahoma City celebrated its first ever trip to the NBA Finals with a come-from-way-behind 107-99 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Durant had a monster game, playing all 48 minutes and finishing as the game's high-scorer with 34 points. He also pulled down 14 rebounds, handed out five assists and blocked two shots.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 94-90 Tuesday in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Celtics now lead 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. Forward Kevin Garnett led Boston with 26 points, including two free throws to seal it in the closing seconds. Forward Paul Pierce added 19 points, with none of them bigger than a 3-pointer to put the Celtics ahead with 52 seconds remaining.
