The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat 112-103 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals to take a (3-2) lead in the series. Dallas controlled the game from start to finish and withstood a fourth quarter rally by the Heat. Dirk Nowitzki led the way with 29 points and Jason Terry added 21. Dallas will look to close out the series in Game 6 Sunday 9pm on ABC.
